Very Important! SAVE FREQUENTLY the work of your filter to be safe

When you are making a filter, you already know that it may take much time to create it, and is really the worst thing if you have made something really great and then for any reason FF crash and deletes all the work you have done since the las time you saved the filter, or if the power line fails and will switch off your computer

So I recommend very much that to avoid problems, bad feelings and to be safe that your work will not be lost, I recommend that while making the filter, you save frequently

1 - Maybe, each 10 or 15 minutes

2- Or when you have finished an important part of the filter you save it before continue in the next part

3- After you make something boring but have to do and you do not want to repeat again

4- After you did solve something you did know how to do and You did it and works correctly

Maybe you are buried in the work, and keep working ,BUT Think if you would like to repeat everything you have done again because you did not save it

Be sure also to keep the first preset when saving the filter to avoid overwriting precious presets if you have any

Please do not wait until the work is advanced to save your filter and so you do not have to regret it

Also Sometimes after saving (not every time) I think is also very important to save additionally a COPY OF THE FILTER as a backup to be safe if for any reason you delete something that did not want, or you accidentally or any reason you break the filter. Just only after saving the filter, just save another one with a slightly different name, for example put at the end of the name “copy” or “backup” to know it , but be aware to the ofher version as FF will continue working in the last saved version that in this case is the backup

Furthermore I would recommend that when you finish your filter you make a backup copy to an external drive to have it safe in case something could happen to your computer
