I think that maybe this could be done using a modified version of the great and well done Agamograph by Rachel Duim

Here is a fast test done I made although is not exactly what you want, but is near, so needs more work

this is the other part, but you want both of these two made in the same image

here is the fast test but still does not mix both parts in one

For it to work as showed above

Preset 1 needs to have the Main Image trasparent so you need to go to go File --->New Image ---> and in Fill color make it transparent

Preset 2 is the opossite, You must make the main image as the FF Ladybug, and the color control have the transparent color

someone else needs to be able to mix both in one

It is almost there!! How about the pixelization of the image. And every filled square have a little perspective. But nice progress already!

Sorry that I have tried to do it but did not get it, as I do not know yet how to mix both ones to make what you want

I think the pixelation may be easy to do and the filled square perspective I think that maybe is already given by the Agamograph filter although not sure

This is a variation of the agamograph I did, in this example there are 2 "images", mona ane a grey value, and the effect starts in a different place (center instead of the edge). I will post a modification here in a day or 2 that looks more like the image on top. Also note that the image appears to have a cutout filter on it, which I may or may not include.

UPDATE: Too much work to change the current agamograph. I created a quick version by splicing 2 images together.

Math meets art meets psychedelia.
