Double or dual Kaleidoscope with 2 source images tiling instead of one

All the Kaleidoscope effects, mandalas, mirror images and others similar I have seen all over Internet are all using just only ONE single image that is repeated and tiled with the same repeated image

Also seems that all the available Kaleidoscope filters in FF are using one image only, at least the ones I have found

But I think that maybe thanks to FF it could be possible to create a new style that would have double or dual Kaleidoscope with 2 source images tiling instead of one that would alternate each one like stripes

Of course that this would break the Kaleidoscope effect of tiling if both images are very different, but what if you use the same image but with different tint color? Or the same image with different offset?

I will see how this can be done and test what is the result and how they combine and maybe using 2 different images could also look cool, nice and interesting
