Hi everyone, i am trying to create texture which has 2 different stripes separated by thin border. However, i dont know how to control the width of blurry edge so it kinda overlaps the colors of the stripes (i have attached the photo below). I am pretty fresh to FF so still exploring. May someone walk me through it ? Thank in advance

The curve controls the transition between the gradient points. The frequency curve op is clipping out the top / bottom of the transition curve, which limits the range. Make sure the curve starts from 0 and ends on 1 to get the full range.

Might be better to use a setup similar to this for more flexibility. You can also use a custom curve for more control.

Thank you for your help. I will definitely look into it smile:). Atm, i am scratching my head trying to understand how the gradient components affect certain map inputs. Would you mind throwing some light on these ? Thank you once again !

When you connect a map input into an integer parameter like rotate or repeat, the map values are rounded to the nearest HDR integer value. A black to white gradient being in the range of 0 to 1. So the left side of the map gets rounded down to 0 and the right side rounded up to 1.

The rotate parameter for example has 4 options (0,90,180,270) - the corresponding HDR values being 0,1,2,3.

Check out the FF manual for more details.

Thanks a lot <3. So basically it will be converged on one of the values in the set of solutions. I will be messing around to get familiar with it. Merci once again smile:)
