Hi folks, I've tried to subimit my first filter trhough the Submit Wizard, but It didn't work. It shows:

Problem Found!
Connection warnings (marked with red)

But there is NO text and anything marked with red.

Is there any way to upload through my log-in in the FF site? How may I procedure to get to submit the filter?

Thanks in advance,
Lucato.

How about you post your filter here so we can check it out ourselves and see what went wrong? (Don't worry we won't try and take credit for your work. smile;) )

In Filter Forge go to Filter > Locate File. Open your filter in notepad (or any text editor) and copy the entire contents to the clipboard.

Then reply to this topic with the text you just copied.

Hey Uber, thanks, but I got to send It. I thought that this Connection warnings (marked with red) was a Internet connection problem and should show a text maked in red. Hehehe. This warning is due a "wrong" slider I've used and was showing the exclamation mark. smile:)

lucato,

i had the same thing happen and it was also a wrong control switch attached to a component showing the red exclamation point. kind of an odd message for a wrong switch.

Hmmm... that's confusing indeed. We'll try to reword that.

- Thanks Vlad, It will be better to avoid this kind of confusion. heheh. Vlad, still talking about this Connection Warnings when using "wrong Controls", In the FF It shows a message on the left "In Filter Forge, you can connect any control to any input and that will work". So, once "that will work", wouldn't It allow us to send the filter? I mean, could you take out this warning and allow to upload even using a wrong control or there is no way to separate what is wrong control to other wrong exclamation situations? Well, ok I got to change the slider and send, but I think sometimes changing the slider will result in the different expected result.

Cheers

Lucato, it will really work, but the filter control will be non-intuitive and not user-friendly at all.
Imagine, say, a checkbox input controlled via a Color component?..

Yup, I've to agree, pretty weird. smile:) I can't remember now why I had commented that. I mean, why I needed to use a different control that I got red mark. If I remeber I will place a message here.

Cheers.

We've renamed "Connection Warnings" to "Control Warnings" to avoid confusion. This will be available in the next update.

Great. Thanks FF team.

Ah, maybe rename also the '(marked with red)' to '(Exclamation marked with red in the inputs)'. Something like that. Well, just a suggestion.

Yes, maybe something along the lines of:
Control warnings (inputs marked with red exclamation signs)

This phrase construction sounds much better than my "Engluese" version that was terrible. smile:) That one is enough and really good to avoid that.
