sweet smile:)

we may have to start an 'Images by FF' sub-forum.

i've been using primarily one picture to test my filters. this gives me a good comparison between filters and filter effects. and every once in a while i'll 'save image as' when one looks particularly nice. i'm building up a nice collection of this one picture smile:)

uberzev: Very cool filter, I like where the lens landed right on the eyes. Nice work.

Kraellin: A sub forum would be interesting and helpful. People could see what can be accomplished by some of the filters aside from the life preserver. A better sell if they see it in action. Also just to see what cool things can be done with exsisting filters. Also upcoming????

Sounds like a good idea. How would you name this new forum?

I'm sure the web sites of other graphic programs have sections like this, just see what they call it. smile:D

vladimir,

hmmm, names.... well, since every filter that comes out of FF goes through the 'Results' component, how about the 'Results' forum? ken recently suggested that we have a forum for the filters themselves where each thread would be about a given filter. that's pretty workable. you could post the filter itself and the 'Results' in images from that filter all within that thread.

you could also do it by author where each thread was only that author's filters and results.

or, you could do it like pbase and other photo sharing web sites do. the author or you guys start a given gallery for a filter and let others post their images made with that filter.

me, i'd be happy with a simply dedicated sub-forum here where it was done by a given filter, but it might look more professional done as an image sharing type thing. i can see advantages both ways. so, it's really up to you guys, the devs, what you need and want here.

Hey Vlad, was the queue clear today and I just came home night and It is full again? ...Or each member has your own queue? I'm not getting to send filters today.
