sorry to bug you guys and take away from your own projects

I did the same thing.....but not having any luck getting the last part of it.....I will give it another shot later today.....

well I figured it out finnaly after all this time since I started with FF
My wife took the kids to stay at grandmas since I had a migraine even though I wanted them to stay

but it did give me the opportunity to take some medicine and upon wakeing up I figured it out

For someone that prides himself on thinking outside the box and not confining my thinking --I had really gotten in a rut on this one and not truly looked at it from all angles

angles is the key
I kept primarily foccusing on the horizontal when the true key was altering the vertical only worked like a charm even the dividions are properly scaled

its a complete wreck in its current state about 50 dead ends that I had been exploreing

Ill clean it up and set aside an example section within the filter tommorow morning

Okay quick update I was cleaning it up when I noticed some artifacts on closer scrutiny
because I use the number 33.3 is my assumption since we cant use fractions 1/3
I can use the same basis to get it to work but it will no longer be a simple filter --the inner mechanics will be quite bulky and in essense just a cheat using masks--but it will work and should render really fanst anyhow ---Ill get to work on the revised edition a little later and submitt it tomorrow --im a little disheartend by the discovery of those artifacts...
Ill probably release both versions
one officially the other in this post later incase someone wants to look at the guts of the orriginal

unfortunatly there are about 150 at the top right about now just waiting for a little more love and attention

Sorry just about screamed out loud when I saw those artifacts --just dont have the heart yet to work on it so Im finishing up a few others

Ill make sure its submitted by tommorow morning --but it may originally be only a snippet since for now Im only implimenting one direction instead of all 4
Ill later submitt a full filter that allows all 4 directions

Well for starters the storry ends with me being bald from pulling out my hair

this is one Ive wanted to do since the beginning but waited till I felt I was a little capable first
so its been especcially frustrating
