Is there a way to recover lost presets or to move the presets from one similar filter to another filter?
Please tell me there is @ronviers

Eh, they should be part of the .ffxml file, but digging them out and pasting them into another .ffxml file, might be more trouble than it's worth really.

It looks like if I nab everything between presets and presets/ then I can just paste that into my screwed up filter. Thanks a million jffe! If it doesn't work I will post back to this thread. @ronviers

It didn't
FF said I had an invalid file format. Oh well I really didn't have anything better to do than recreate *twenty* presets on an slow filter. @ronviers

Oh I'm sorry, Ron. Sounds like you lost a lot of work
If it's any comfort at all to you, I have created about 5 different filters which, while I was not paying attention, totally lost because of NOT saving regularly while making them and then accidentally turning FF off rather than minimizing it to my desktop. So we both know what it's like to loose our precious hard work... it hurts! ~Foxxee~

Well I'm glad it helps. We all know what it's like to loose something after working so hard at it. But I have confidence you'll pick right back up and create just as good, if not better presets next time
And don't forget to SAVE OFTEN
