I have written a beginner's tutorial on creating a Simple filter. The URL is:

Fran,
You will see the effects of each of the components if you click on them. Click on image and you will see your image. I just went to the tutorial and step 5 and recreated it with a regular picture to make sure it worked. Paula |

I looked at this tutorial but gave up as there assumed knowledge. For example it does not say anywhere how to add sliders? It also appears to assume that the user has a pc- I use a mac and I dont have a mousewheel.
