How about a filter competition where FF posts a description of the filter(s) that they would like for the library.....maybe one in each catagory. The winner(s) get their filter(s) put up as an Editor's picks plus an additional reward point for a total of two.....and the runner(s) up get one reward point.
Might be incentive for some really good filters.....and FF would be able to get what they want for filters at the same time

Yeah, I'm sure FF could come up with some good filter concepts that they would like to see in the library.....
I kinda went to myself "what would I do if I owned FF, wanted to fill some holes in the library, re-vitalize quality filter making, and re-energize forum activity".....have a filter contest!!! Steve

We've had the 'competition' discussion before (I think in the Reward System thread). It's a very nice idea, but there was no feedback from the FF team back then if I remember correctly... --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

One of the things that go with winning a contest at Worth1000 is that the winner is expected to write a tutorial for how the winning entry was made. These tutorials provide guidance to other members and are then turned into books that in turn support the community. They provide a tutorial template and editing so the tutorials have a certified look and feel about them.
