Hi Guys - Can anyone tell me if there is a way of clearing an image once its loaded into FF, either to a transparent background or to FF default Life-belt image without closing the program and reopening it.

Any help much appreciated - Mikita.

PS if this is not possible FF might think of adding such a function to future versions. smile:)

You can do this if run FF as standalone application.

File > Open Image... or Ctrl+O

File > New Image... for a new image where You can choose resolution and color.

But, unfortunately, this option is not available if You run FF as plugin.

Hi - Constantin Malkov.

Sorry for not getting back ealier (work called) Thanks for your response - i had been to File > New Image before - but after revisiting i spotted the A slider at the bottom of the colour imput window which is the option for a transparent back-ground. Why its marked with an A i dont know.

Thanks again for your help - Mikita
