i'm a little curious here and a little confused, perhaps, but it occurs to me that we dont really have a slider that can handle the 35,000 increments of a 'variation' node. int sliders go up to 999 while normal sliders go to something less and angle sliders only go to 360. so, if i plug a control into a variation node, what do i use to get the full gamut of positions?

Good question. You can plug a regular slider there, but if that prevents submitting the filter, that's a bit funky.

yes, cant plug a normal slider into the variation or you get the red no-no mark.

Yes, I've had this issue, too.

The thing that bugs me the most about that 'restriction' is that a slide and an int slider just don't have the same level of control. You can't have a minimum and maximum with an int slider, which means (for me at least) there may be some really bad variations when the int slider is much to low.
