Hi folks I need some help here to understand what is going on. Actually, I got 2 doubts:
1) I want to update/exchange the 'Wave Sound 1', and I want to add a grid behind the wave, but I'm not getting to make the grid be behind the wave signal (Like layers). It happens when I try this blend from another blend (See the image attached Tiles/Blend Components). So, the Blend doesn't blend from blend or I am doing something wrong here? This texture is already in the libray, if you want to try, add the blend and tiles as the sample image. 2) In the Tiles component, when I add alpha 0, It doesn't make the tiles transparent and keep the mortar. Any Idea why? Is it a bug in the Tiles Component or my mistake? In the Checker component, If I add alpha 0 in the 'Tiles', It makes transparent. Thanks in advance. ![]() |

Actually, this is the normal behavior of Tiles/Bricks/Pavements and all Noises. All these components operate as sets of two 'layers' (Noise+Background, Tiles+Mortar etc), and these layers are blended together like Photoshop's layers, using the Normal blend mode. |

No, blend is just a component like everything else, there's nothing special about it. |

Vlad, It didn't work. I mean,in your example you get to see the grid when the wave is over It and I want the grid be behind the wave. I mean, the wave can't be transparent or show the grid when it is over the grid. Just where there is no wave that the grid can shows. Even getting the wave in the profile gradient (Wave Sound 1) that is hard/solid, you don't get to make it be over the grid without being transparent. Weird. Thanks for trying. Maybe it is some stuff for math component instead of blend. Well, I'll think in another way to try to get the result I want. |

Oh, didn't check the quote, sorry -- this is due to a problem with the Quote link (not the button). I've corrected the error.

Hey Quasi, thanks for the suggestion! That was the start for the solution in my case. I've used some similar stuff. Thanks a lot.
- That's ok Vlad. Don't worry about that. Thanks anyway.
Hehehe. Vlad used to do that with my messages too. Now it seems be ok now. ![]() I'll send the update for Wave Sound 1. |
