Excuse my ignorance - but wouldn't it be easier to use the Tiles component? Or are there special effects possible with this method that are not possible the standard way?

ahammmm, you saw my Bubble Wrap and was a new challenge for you to make them look hexagonal. hehhehehe smile:) Uber, now I think I understood what you meant about hexagonal in another thread. Congratulations! Nice job. By using tiles as I've used and as Quasi have commented above, doesn't make the result hexagonal and seems squared instead. Do you mind if I use your "formula" to fix my textures? I guess there is no problem once you're sending it as Snippet, but I want hear from you. smile;)

Quasi, I guess by using Tiles the circles positions seem squared way. In the Tiles Component if you look at the vertical spaces between circles and horizontal, they are different from each other. They don't have the same distances. Look into Uber filter to see how hexagonal superpose the lines.

I am wrong Uber?

Okay now I see the difference. Well, the example picture here doesn't do justice to the capabilities of the filter. This here is more obvious:

Thanks Uber. I'll see what I can do. It won't be so soon to send the updates because I thought It was just replace the tiles by yours, but It messed the bump normal map. Rrrrrghghgh. The Tiles Component has the bevel and now I'll try to find it out. I mean, to make the bump normal map equal when using Tiles. Thanks anyway.

Btw, FF team, the Tiles Component would have an option to act as Hexagonal too.
