Welcome to FF Ultramarine...Heres one I did a while ago its a non-seamless version among other weird things that happen...But at least it might get you started...This is not the only way to do this...This one uses Volds Easier Tiling and Ubers Any Angle Rotate....

Thanks for your reply, CFandM.
These image filters don't help with my problem, since A) seamless tiling is needed B) the seamless tiling filter distorts the crossing pattern What I need to know is: How to render dots along the lines of http://www.filterforge.com/filters/5824.html Or any other method, to render seamless crossings with dots (which should optionally be rotatable). Do you know a way? I haven't found any component that would let me do that. |

Well first there is no one component that you can do this with..You need to build a filter that will do this for you such as the one I posted...I will let you have the fun of combining it with the other filter...
![]() ![]() The second filter I posted is seamless however you have posted something FF does have a issue with..That is small circles....Since FF is not vector based tiny shapes sometimes look strange and not what it should look like...Unsure why but its always been an issue...Here is a example of the same filter above but in version2 with the highest Anti-Alasing settings...No1 is the circles..No2 is the same circles but just repeated and shrunk to a smaller size...Notice how it changed shape....This is the same thing that happens in the filter that I posted and other combinations of shapes that get real small...... Its very annoying but its not vector.. ![]() ![]() ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |
