Hi folks, by using Bricks Component we get to use the 'Bevel Width' slider to bevel the bricks. I'm wondering how we can bevel the mortar instead? Maybe It's a new challenge and also a suggestion to FF team to implement a 'Bevel mortar' slider in the Bricks Component.
I tried a lot of combinations with others components and etc, but I didn't get any result. Anybody has some tip to share? Thanks in advance folks. |

Heres one with a little more control. The bricks and the bevel size at the same time.

The cool thing is also with this is connecting the control and slider in the pict below gives bevel shape control. Also works with tiles component ![]() Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

Hey CF, based on yours, this one you get to control the bevel of mortar and bricks.

Btw, and exchaging the subject a little, FF team would add one more 'Load attachment' input. One for image and other for ff file. So, we would post both in the same post.

Nice, just the little bit that I have played with this I know that the tiles also work in the same fashion The others I have not tried yet.

Yep, that would be nice, but unfortunately the current version of the board doesn't allow multiple attachments (hopefully they'll implement this in future releases). |

I used three separate brick patterns: Brick 1: Ordinary brick stuff; Brick 2: Mortar width 0%, Bevel width 100%. Brick 3: White / black - mortar / brick mask. The trick is to use the outer part of Brick 2 as if it were the mortar bevel. Applying a levels adjustment with the white point set to the overal mortar width, the mortar bevel becomes a black / white gradient (nice to play with Brick 3 is used to combine the "normal" Brick 1 with the mortar bevel from Brick 2.
