2 very basic questions:
1 - Is there a manual or book on creating filters you guys would recommend? The company I work for just bought FF for the filters available in the library but I'm amazed with the possibilities and I wanna try to create my own filters. Is there a "start here"? 2 - The first filter I'd like to create is pretty simple: Get a square image (JPG for example) and repeat it, with an option to rotate it and to set the size. Just fill a square area, let's say 100%x100% with a given image sized at *user given size* for example (25%), so 4x4 copies os the input image with an option to rotate it. Is it easy to do? thanks in advance and sorry for the poor english |

Ok bro, you and every other user ask this question, which is nothing to be ashemed of. Here is a link to the wiki page: FilterForgeWiki As for further instructions, there arent many tutorials out there, the best way is to download others filters and open them in edit mode to figure out how they accomplished what they have. The best thing to do is download some of the simple filters, as they are easier to read. As for question two, look into the snippests section, there are a few that can help you with that. We walk through life building our castles but far to many cease to build the foundations. |
