Filter forge can projection map an image into UV space allowing a seamless bridging of annoying seams
Example: a projection on a synthesized object (object was faked in Filter Forge) ![]() to map a texture to an objects UVs, Bake out a texture from x, y, and z gradients (not sure how to explain this) here is an example of a cube ![]() this give you the XYZ location of each pixel in the UV map here is the baked map for the default Second Life male head ![]() Here is the projected result ![]() here it is in applied to the original mesh in a 3d application ![]() Mesh with an unmodified checker board pattern applied to show UV seams and varying resolution ![]() project UV.ffxml |
