Hello everyone,
Noob user here just getting started with Filter Forge. I would like to make a filter that is much like the metal smithing technique called Mokume Gane I am guessing that the wood filter would most likely do it, but it seems to have more bands of information than what I am after. Any direction for a total noob would super appreciated and I thank you in advance. I have attached a sample of what I am chasing, but a good google image search for Mokume Gane will also provide more info. ![]() |

Hi Propyl,
Welcome to the FF community! This is pretty easy, actually: you just need a Perlin Noise, which is driven by a curve which repeats. (Take an impulse curve, connect it to a curve repeat, and then connect that to the blue input of the perlin noise.) |
