Is there some smart way of triggering non seamless mode of a perlin noise when the filter in general runs in seamless mode?

I'm asking because I need a non repeating perlin noise for a script component that produces a seamless result.

If this is not currently possible, I hope it will be when we get a more extensive scripting API..

I don't know about smart, but the first thing that comes to mind is enlarging a portion of the seamless perlin to force it to have seams.

Yeah, I guess that could work.

I did encounter a few cases where I actually needed the opposite: seamless mode for specific components, but overall the filter produces non seamless result. Forcing the filter to run in seamless mode leaves an impression that the filter can do seamless rendering, while it actually can't..

In the long run it would be nice with some way to control seamless rendering mode of a sub branch (perhaps via scripting).
