ok, attached is a small routine i put together, but i have no clue why the output at the subtract component is entirely black and white. i was expecting at least some color here. doesnt this just subtract B from A? and isnt that all done by the color values of A and B? so, if you subtract one shade of red from another, shldnt it still come out as a little bit still reddish if the values of A were greater than the values of B? so, i have no clue and after banging my head against the monitor for a bit, i decided to try something even more painful by posting here smile;)
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Kraellin, I'm glad you asked this question. I have tried what I thought were simple add and subtracts (R-B, B-g,etc ....) which I have used in other filter programs such as ff and filter miester and got nothing but black or white. I figured I was just stupid and gave up.... Hope someone can help. I'd like to know as well.
