I haven't done anything with FF in a hwile and just started randomly poking around. I have this filter and there are some interesting results but my tweaking already messed it up a bit. It is not good enough to upload to the library so I thought I'd post it here in case anyone has any ideas. I was trying to color it, and maybe make it a surface filter with some nice shiney effects but so far nothing nice.

So here it is if anyone wants to try - a sort of community filter if it is of interest. Look at some of the presets to see if you agree - maybe it is just me but there's some stuff I like happening here and there.

I played with it for a bit. You have some interesting ideas and approaches. I would suggest though reading some of the included link. Use of certain modules fed into certain other modules can bring a filter to a crawl unnecessarily. Also the sticky underneath by Crappadilla
"Do's and Don'ts of Filter Construction is a very worthwhile read as well. Good Luck!
