I've been lately exploring methods and otherwise just stuff of experimentation. It's quite tough determining the "best method" and while the wiki does help, it's not always going to answer questions. So I thought why not just upload this here to see if anything can be done to make this go even faster.

What's this filter? It's an experimental sharpen filter which allows fine control of detail levels. So you have sharpen controls for the large details to the smallest. In doing so, I was using a bunch of max and min components for combining the 4 highpass filters which sounds unpractical as of this point. (Just check the FF file for more details)

So there it is. I have no idea if this is any good for serious use, but it does work. And I guess I'm looking for a better way to do this, if there is any. smile;)
