I've used the GIMP(a Linux opensource graphic application) one of these days. There is a maze generating plugin for the GIMP.It can generate all kinds of mazes, which is magical and artistic.
The exhibition site And here is a web one of it.You can generate mazes just on the web. What I really want to say is,somebody can write a filter for FF to do this. There is a math compoment containing the lua agorithm code within FF.And the GIMP maze project has the open code source written in C. Lua inherits C's features.Any body can turn it into Lua script for an FF3 maze filter? Here is the code.It can be unpacked with WinRar.It's worth if anyone can do that.I can't do it until my programing ability catches that someday. ![]() |

This would be really a great idea to make in Filter Forge and would be lovely that someone could make such a filter.
But how would you be able to introduce so many data that are asked to be able to construct and build the maze as shown here ? Well really the maze type, could be given in numbers on a slider, instead of image preview thumbnails |

In fact all of the data for maze construct on that web is drawn from specific code, which is C language, but not with bitmap resources. So it is also possible to implement that with the Lua script adapted to FF. And,the collage maker you reminded of in the new filter suggest thread is another good prospect, too! ![]() |

There is several maze filters.I've looked into their internal nodes. They are limited to simple square patterns because of lacking real maze algorithm. |

This is kind of funny as i have been trying to compile the newest version of Maze (Maze5-0.8.1), for Gimp-2.7.4. - Current problem is Cairo headers.
More Info Small world I would love to see this built into a Filter Forge plugin. Rod

Hey, Dilla, you did that in GIMP, or you already figured this out in FF?
