Hi everybody
![]() I'm working on my 1st filter, so please be patient with me ![]() As a part of the filter, I need to offset each channel indepandantly. I EXTRACT each channel, put it through an OFFSET control, and then BLEND the channels back togather. So far so good, but now I want the user to be able to control the X and Y offsets for each channel in both positive and negative values (right and left for X, up and down for Y). My question is, what is the best way to have a user control that will allow me to do that? As far as I saw sliders don't have a negative value... Thanks! |

I havent installed FF3 yet
![]() Is there a way to do it in FF2? Right now the only thing I can think of (other than using scripts maybe, which is not for me to get into just yet) is offsetting the channel using a constant high value, and then using another offset control with user input. EDIT: OK, now that I have FF3 installed, I can see how easy it is - there are negative values too ![]() |

Yep, Silly me.
![]() After installing FF3 and looking at CFandM's anaglyph filter I realized there's a value control. Also I now understand that I could have used a slider control with a remapper, instead of all the garbage I wrote in my last post ![]() Thanks for the help! |

Hate to bump an old and dusty thread, but I have another question...
![]() Is there a way to limit the Value control to be between [-0.5] and [0.5]? I don't want the user to go beyond those values, because then the image is actually flipped. |
