Modify the great Venetian Blinds filter to show photos OVERLAID ?

I have just found this great and lovely Venetian Blinds Filter BUT I have seen that all the variation and presets are thinking that the image is always behind and in the back of the venetian blinds, simulating that is like a window or picture that you have put this over them.

Well, I have had another idea, and would like to have another different effect.

Would it be possible to have the photo applied OVER the Venetian Blinds as an OVERLAY and ONLY show the photo as it was part of them and NOT show the photo in the transparent parts.

So instead of having plain colors, you could have really colourful and textured venetian blind slats, like if them have been printed with digital photos and textures.

SO probably the process would be the inverse as it is now.

How could I modify this in the Filter Editor to get this effect that the photo is overlaid over the venetian blind slats and delete the rest ?

Or if it is not possible in this way, perhaps anyone willing and wants to upgrade the filter to be able to make this effect?

Here below I show an example, although in this one ALL the slats have the same texture, and this is not what I want or I am suggesting, BUT also perhaps it would be interesting to have the same texture on each slat.
