Hello !
How come it is not possible to handle FF3 as FF2 ? I mean that we cannot displace components with the little hand at the top, but just with the arrow. I loose time to play between arrow and hand. With FF2, it was possible to displace components with the hand. Can you fix that ? Or maybe there is an option that I missed for it ? visit https://gisoft.ca |

I keep it on arrow, and when I need the hand I either use the right button or I hold the space bar and use the left button. OTOH, your way would be easier.

I am sorry I do not understand you.
![]() When in the filter editor of FF 3, with the hand icon selected, I can sel ect a component and move it where I want it. And if I want to use the hand icon, I just press the SPACE bar in the keyboard to move the whole workspace, although this is for ALL the components not just one. Do you mean that you could move the components with the hand ? What is different fr om moving the components with the arrow ? Sorry that I have not used the FF 2.0 Editor |

Ghislaine, I'm not sure I understand your concern.
Since the first version the arrow mode allows you to left-click to select/move components and right-click to pan the workspace. In the hand mode you can both left-click and right-click to pan, but why would you ever need to switch to the hand? You may want to review the Using Filter Editor help section. |

Thanks all ! Glad to know that
![]() With FF2, when the hand icon was selected, it was possible to pan and also work on components without pass by the arrow mode. FF3 is different. I did not know for the right-click. That is why my need to switch all the time between hand and arrow. visit https://gisoft.ca |
