Kraellin Kraellin Posts: 12749 Filters: 99	steve, i hate being the 'critic' but i know you want feedback. so, the first one looks glassine still. it might be because of the colors, but it has a distinct refractive glass quality, not metal. the second one looks much more metallic. maybe it's the use of more flat surfaces or the coppery color, but definitely more metallic. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up! Craig

StevieJ Designer/Artist Posts: 11264 Filters: 163	Hey Kraellin Admit it, you love it Yeah, I need to fine tune both chrome filters. I had to manually drop the pixel size to get these. I'm trying to find a way around what the blur is doing to the image.....which is putting the desired effects way down to between 1 and 8 size pixels. On the other hand, dropping the blur below 2 starts other undesirable effects. Any suggestions? Another Test Pic.... Steve "Buzzards gotta eat...same as worms..." - Clint :)

Kraellin Kraellin Posts: 12749 Filters: 99	actually, i do like this one, steve. and i'm revising my initial evaluation. i originally saw glass in the green one, but i can now see the metal. probably the green that was throwing me before. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up! Craig
