Sweetly subtle. I plan to use this to come up with some minimalist visual landscape textures, sort of a pictorial counterpart to the subtle music of Brian Eno, Ryuichi Sakamoto, etc. It has a gentle sloped nuance like a fabric which would break upon touch.

Thanks smile:) Hence my note at the end of the description "Embrace the subtlety." ha-ha, but on that note, beware, I have updated it, and submitted the update, which while similar, is QUITE different. So either rename the original, or don't download the update, they are pretty different, and that is intentional. I felt the first one would probably be too tame 'round these parts ha-ha, so I made it a bit more obvious there was something in the colored fog. Anyways, glad you liked it, and beware the updated version, tis not the same. (2 random sample images below)

nice. folks are always looking for backgrounds/backdrops.

----I seem to do better, or at least do ha-ha, background type things. I've tried to do some photo manipulation type filters, and they never turn out half as good as a lot of the ones I see. If no one likes it, that's cool, maybe FF will dump it along with 1,000 or so other unpopular filters when they clean house someday. Gotta make room for teh nu, and hopefully I'll have a decent nu filter up someday. smile:)

jffe,

make all you want. i know i've gone out on 'internet sojourns' to find backgrounds before. nice to have some in FF. saves a TON of time from having to look through random web sites. besides, these are good.

Well FF, and programs like it are background making machines ha-ha, maybe you meant you had trouble finding backgrounds, or had to *look* for them a while back, but these days, no way, come on ha-ha. I enjoy the (background) kind of abstractness though, if anything, it's a bit of a challenge to find some (different) combination of modules that make some kind of *random* looking stuff that isn't too crazy looking, and isn't too boring/patterned looking. Plus it caters to my lazy cracker jack prize style of experimenting I guess. smile:D Anyways, thanks for the bump, and glad someone took a look eh. smile:)
