Ha! Ha!
Yes, the original version has twice the controls of this filter ( over 200 ). This is what I wrote in the filter too : It generates spheres and polygons of different sizes and colors, similar to a virus, bacteria, planets, balls, bands, etc. The spheres/polygons can be generated on a colored background, on an image, on a shield; they can look like an explosion, a whirlpool, a Gothic picture, an emblem. In the filter : "S" = Sphere, "P" = Polygon, "SP" = Sphere & Polygon. The numbers following these letters refer to Sphere 1, Polygon 2, etc. The filter firstly creates the basic 5 shapes ( each of them can be a Sphere or a Polygon ). Then, it can Invert, Blur, Distort these shapes. Blend can blend one of the shapes with another. Blend + DoubleBlend can blend 3 shapes together. The shapes are added to a Bomber to generate the final effect. The final effect can be used as it is or blended with 8 other effects ( selected using View Selector ). This is a Lite Version of the original filter. Download the full version here : ramlyn.yolasite.com/resources/The%20Spherical%20Connection.ffxml |

I explain how to use it.
The filter is divided in 3 main areas : 1. Creation of the shapes. As I said before, it creates 5 shapes. These shapes can be Sphere or Polygon. The controls for customizing these shapes are on the top of the Settings. They starts as "SP" or "P", and they are followed by the number 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 for the 5 shapes. The controls starting with SP and having no number are operative in all the 5 shapes. You can : - Sel ect the color of the shapes ( if two different colors are selected, you can get a noise with those two colors on the surface ) - Control the chance for that shape to appear in the final result - Control the radius, bevel, squash, number of sides ( polygon ), star shape, etc. - Control the inversion of the colors ( only one control available for all shapes ) - Using a Noise Distortion to make the shape irregular - Blend two shapes together. Blend Low is used to select the shape that is in the lower position. Blend High is used to select the shape that is up. Blend High Inv. can invert the color of the shape that is up. You can choose the Opacity and the Blending Mode. - In the Lite Version, only for the shape 1, it is possible to blend three shapes together. SP1 DoubleBlend Top gives the chance to add a third shape on the top of what you have already selected with the previous Blend. 2. Bomber The Bomber ( --> see in the FF what the Bomber is used for ) receives the 5 shapes. You have the chance to select the random size of the shapes, their amount, the background ( color or picture ), the rotation, etc. All commands starts as SP, because they apply to all 5 shapes. Using commands as SP Density, SP Size, SP Details you can reduce the amount to one single shape or increase to many. 3. Effects The View Selector allows you to select among the original result fr om the Bomber and 8 effects applied on it. The effects are : 1. Smudge 2. Deletion of the background color 3. Explosion 4. Gothic Weave ( the shapes are melted in a "weave-like" design ) 5. The shapes get colored with an image ( transparent background ) 6. The shapes get colored with an image 7. Whirlpool 8. Shield This last effect allows to use the Bomber result to create a shield. An image can be applied on the top of the Bomber result, resized and moved anywhere on the shield. |

Wow! A lot of very beautiful pictures there! Really. I love your art.
I will add them to my collection. I like to collect good pictures of many different kinds ( science, art, landscapes, etc. ) that I find in the net. I also read "The picture of Dorian Gray" and "The fall of the house of Usher". Two great books of two famous writers. ![]() I'm 46. I'm not so young too. Ha! Ha! |
