there is an effect in #1 and 2 that you might want to explore more, the whole 'tear in the fabric of the universe' effect.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Thank you smile:)

Well, I think that you have the right idea with your tiles.....very usable. I guess everyone one has their own particular tastes of what they want to do. I would say, if you would use it and/or find it useful.....then most likely others will too.....

There is some salesmanship involved in getting them seen and subsequently used.....so I would suggest posting really good sample pics in the filter "Comments" string to clearly show how the filter can be used.....

I hope that this is helpful to you.....and keep up the good work!!! smile:)

Hey did I accidentally stumble onto the source of your avatar? That's cool!

I just stopped by to mention what an excellent job this filters does of somehow flattening the neutral parts of an image. I don't know how you are doing it but that effect, as seen clearly on preset 1 and variation 4, could be broken out as a photo-filter. Beautiful filter. smile:)

I was perusing your gallery looking for glass textures. I did not find any. Have you considered doing some glass textures?

No, glass filters are a dime-a-dozen.....I wouldn't be caught dead doing any filters like that smile:dgrin:

No no, of course not smile;) , but all your filters are effects - when are you going to do glass textures? Is it because glass is a material not a texture and therefore not a candidate? Come to think of it glass is a very special kind of material in that is has from zero to sixteen percent partial reflection 1, varying degrees of opacity, color and subsurface scattering. And those are just the unusual properties I could think of off the top of my head. Now I'm even more confused about materials and textures smile:?:
Textures may simply be attributes of materials. If that's the case then you may be in the unique position of having the only effects filters that are also textures - except maybe Kraellin's onion paper filter. smile:)

Ah, I was wondering when someone would pick up on that.....you are the very first person to notice it.....very observant smile:) Every one of my filters plays off of the color and tones of the image.....even my two "SolarRelief" filters that add texture.....and my "AbstractWorx" filters that play off of tone.....

I can't sneak anything by you, eh??? smile;) smile:D LOL.....

I have noticed that everyone has their own unique style. That's what makes it so much fun to browse the filter artists collections.

Good filters can slip thru the cracks sometimes. In the end follow thru, updating if needed and samples can consume as much time as it took to make the filter. In short,... it's alot of hard work to see a filter thru. The life preserver wheel rarely does the filter justice. (((This I learned from Steve'J, smile;) )))

It's all in how you look at it... doesn't seem like too far off a description. My outlook on it is more 'like taking care of it'... sort of like I would a pet. Problem is I have 81 pets,,, er I mean 81 filters... smile;)

Hey Lynn... speaking of pets,,, did Butterscotch get her permanent name yet? Or have you decided to stay with Butterscotch? smile:D
