The loop is slow to render, but it really gives the clouds volume.

Yeah, there's a lot of spaghetti and it takes a while to render, but the results are worth it.

I dreamed that this filter's output was unclamped HDR values. Then I dreamed it would let me reposition the sun, and the clouds' illumination would update accordingly...
