Hey Carl smile:) Neat concept!!! I was thinking maybe that this one could have variations that look like the electricity is on the surface and out around the car.....as opposed to a layer effect.....

I would suggest trying to emulate some real pictures of it.....maybe super thin, more stretched out, and fanned out like tree branches....

What do you think??? smile:)

Hi StevieJ, I really wanted the electricity on the surface or just above, but it always ended up looking like paint reflections, flat on the surface of whatever object it was displaced on.......... open to suggestions smile:) ....... Carl

This is a challenging problem.....have to separate out the car to do it. I'll tinker with this one when I get a chance smile:)

LOL..... There is a way to do everything that you can imagine.....just have to figure it out......

I know that there are other filters that utilize this concept.....so I would suggest searching for one that uses the closest basic concept.....and try to modify it towards what you want.....

Glass first, then I'll dabble with lightning......LOL smile:D smile:)

Carl, I was just thinking that this one would be super-popular by getting the elctricity more realistic and form-fitting. Here's a pic of real lightning which is easy to make. The challenging part is getting it to appear form-fitted just over objects.....but I think that I have a way to do this.....combining a mod of my "PerlinArtWorx", separation of Uber's "self distortion", and displacement (form-fitting hover) from part of my "ExtremeGlass".....

Looks good Carl! You've made a good solid filter on a difficult ideal concept! Realistic lightning and direction based electricity is pretty hard to do from my past experience with Deluge Disaster which could only do lightning to a limited degree... the problem seems to be the top to bottom tapering bias, branching and making it appear naturally going to a direction. I guess in some ways, it's like making an upside down tree branch generator -- certainly a challenge! Electricity isn't quite as direction based as lightning, but the arcing, attraction and form fitting factor is pretty difficult to emulate. This Filter has a lot of potential and promise! I look forward to seeing it's advance! ^_^

Thanks StevieJ smile:) some good suggestions I will investigate smile:)

Hi Zephos nice to meet you smile:D , I think this filter does have great potential, but at the moment is beyond my capabilities to achieve what I want, thats why it's alway wonderful to get feed back and suggestion which has on previous filters improved them greatly. Thankyou Zephos and as always StevieJ it's definitly a filter I will attempt to improve.............. Carl smile:)

I have another idea on how to do it......go get the "CyberGlow" filter.....then stretch, slightly distort, sharpen, and contrast the effect.....and viola.....electricity smile:)
