Did you create this effect based on a tutorial... a book, or some scientific research?
Or are they just based on your idea of making enhancements to an image?

I was wondering why you applied sharpen twice in the filter. It seems to overkill the output with too much detail.
I say loosen up on the sharpen component. You don't need 2 of them.

It also seems the filter doesn't accommodate for a broad spectrum of possible input images. I'm taking note of the hue/saturation component you added in the middle which seems to knock the colors out of balance in the final output. Maybe adding some control to the hue/saturation components?

Not sure, it seems a lot of things are a bit questionable here. Not trying to say bad things, just wanting to drop off a general view.

Was there a reason you made this filter that was particularly useful to yourself?
