WOW! This looks very good, interesting, cool, great and well done, like very much the very complex combinations of the lines going up and under in such good way

Thanks DJI & SpaceRay. smile:D Yes, there are 72 possible combinations + random, the math was tricky.

Props for making all of those patterns.

I wonder if you could make this faster by removing the blurs like this?

Thanks Indigo Ray for the props and the tip smile:D I think it will be faster, a little prototyping using Bevel Width in Free Rectangles as a Blur substitute appears to be faster after changing one of the weaves. A whole section will need to be redesigned for all the weaves, so I'm working on it now and will probably update it next week if the speed is indeed improved after the redesign.

UPDATE: a little tricky on the math, but I've got it working without the blurs, between 2-3 times faster.

Although the complex effect given when using a high number of rows is good and beautiful, I wonder why all the presets included show a very similar pattern and does not show the also awesome and great example of using low amount of rows that gives a great effect too

Here is Preset 1 with 2 rows instead of 10 where you can see even better the lovely and excellent work of weaving and layering of the lines

love it

It is even cool and interesting with just 1 row with Preset 1 settings

And also is not showing in the presets that you can the Size Pixels to multiply the source image as shown here

Preset 1 with 1 row and Size Pixels 150 (so it keeps being perfectly square)

this is with the Portrait/Landscape unchecked

Also would be good as a preset to show that the above configuration will make a flip pattern of source image (both horizontal and vertical), as this with selected images could give a good result

Preset 1
Rows 1
Size Pixels 200
Pattern Selector 1 3
Pattern Selector 2 3

And what is well thought and great option is that if you do not want that the source image is multiplied and have the flip effect, you only have to activate the Portrait/Landscape checkbox and then the Size Pixels slider will work correctly resizing the waves without modifying the source image as shown here

Preset 1
1 row
Size Pixels 200
Portrait/Landscape activated

And all the above ones are tight weaves without showing the background, the same as in the presets included, but you can also get good effects showing the background too

So I suggest that if you want and give more options to show what your awesome and great filter can do you could modify the presets to show all the great thing it can do, but of course this is up to you, and you decide what you want, is just that is a pity that such great filter is not showing in presets what it can really do

Thanks very much for creating this, love it

You must be my biggest fan, SpaceRay smile;) I was so focused on making sure each preset used a different pattern that I passed over other features. I used your ideas from above and added 5 more presets illustrating what you so generously contributed. Thanks again. smile:D It should be out in the next day or 2.

I have seen that you have updated the filter, but it seems that the first 8 presets shown on filter page in library are similar and really does not show what really this filter can do.

I have seen that now it has alpha channel available ? I do not remember if this was available before, and it looks great

Of course that you can put the presets you may like and want in your filter, but I think that as your filter can do much more than simple waving in such great style and high quality is a pity from my point of view to not show it on the first 8 presets so people may want to download this beauty

Thanks, and good to know that you found it useful and like it, and it should be shown more that his is possible in the presets. Good example

I moved 3 low row examples to the master variations. Update is in queue.

And yes, the update was to make it work with the alpha channel.

Good that it now shows the whole potential and that can do more than simple waving
