Some of these - well, most of them - don't work the way they initially did, I'm guessing - probably because of changes in the way the engine works over time? I'm so new I can't fix anything, but I thought someone should mention it... Is that right?

You are correct. I downloaded this filter and it isn't working correctly. The moderators are usually here Monday thru Friday so they will have a look to see if it is the filter or some other problem. This is a version 1 filter, but it should still work correctly in any of the other builds.

+1. I ran this in the oldest version I have, FF4 and it did not work properly there either. Although it is somewhat different, you can try Art Deco Glass Blocks for something in the same vein. I am going to look under the hood of this filter and see if there is anything obvious I can do to it to make it look like version 1.

UPDATE: I have figured out at least one of the issues, Mortar Width on the Tiles is not working properly. Here is a post of a temporary fix to the filter, I sent email to saylee to verify I did the right thing. This fix was done in Filter Forge 4, it should work in FF4 or greater.

Hummm...last night I downloaded saylee's filter on my laptop and although it isn't working correctly, it did download. Just now I tried to download it on my PC desktop and I got the "Filter download failed get-filter-xml(2677,1)failed" message. Something isn't right. For the Mod's both my OS are Windows 10 64 bit. My browser is Firefox.

Rachel I downloaded your fix and it is working correctly in my FF version 7. There must be a tiny bug somewhere in the works.

To let everyone know, the component nodes work correctly from the 1.0 filters, the problem with this filter is due to the Mortar Width control. It is an integer control with values from 1 to 7. In version 1 if this was plugged into a node value like Mortar Width in Tiles, the values were considered as 0 (or 1?) to 7% (or 7/100) of the total mortar width without Remapping. In later versions the interpretation of the control changed to be from 0 to 100% unless remapping is used. I just added remapping to the control. My guess is that there are other filters that use integer controls without remapping from version 1, so they may not work properly either. My 2 cents, 3 with inflation.
