Is there any way to turn on seamless tiling for this filter? Because I am getting some great Oriental rug effects . . . just would like to make it seamless.

Hummm......
The filter structure itself doesn't fit with seamless. This is what "Help" says : Some Filter Forge components don’t support seamless tiling by design. Examples of non-seamless components include Scale, Rotate, Free Gradient, Free Ellipse, Free Polygon and Free Rectangle. Any filter that uses non-seamless components will have the Seamless Tiling checkbox disabled. However, there are two exceptions to this rule. The Seamless Tiling checkbox may be enabled if the filter author force-enabled it in the Overrides dialog, or if all non-seamless components in the filter are plugged into so-called 'seamlessizer inputs' – that is, the inputs that can accept non-seamless images without ruining the seamlessness of the result. Examples of these 'seamlessizer' inputs include the Source input of the Kaleidoscope component, the Particle inputs of the Bomber and Bomber (HDR) components, and the Color inputs of the Ellipse and Polygon components. |

Dumb question -- where is the override command?
If I set the corners to zero, then output the result, I might be able to trim the black borders off and then tile the result seamlessly? (Using a different program to trim and tile the image.) Maybe that would work. |

You got a very nice result. Nice work!
"Dumb question -- where is the override command? " : open the filter editor and click on Filter. Overrides is the last choice in the menu. "If I set the corners to zero, then output the result, I might be able to trim the black borders off and then tile the result seamlessly? (Using a different program to trim and tile the image.) Maybe that would work. " I suggest to open the filter editor. Then look for "Free Rectangle". Click on it. You will find "Bevel Width". Set the Bevel Width value to 0. Then, as you did, set the Corners to 0. This will completely delete the black border. |

Thank you so much for the directions! I tried to update the filter, and below is a picture that the new filter made.
BTW, I'm not getting email notices of the replies to threads (the emails aren't going to spam; I checked; I am just not getting them). But I will try to remember to come back to the threads that I've posted on and see if anyone is saying anything. ![]() |

Interesting. To me it looks like you covered a 3D shape with the oriental rug. Adjusting the shape a bit, you may get very nice effects.

Nice filter ! I have some tricks to get seamlessly filters when they are not seamless. I work every day with these kind of filters. I'll let you know when I will finish using your filter.

Thank you! It would be great if I can improve this filter or create a new one based on your idea.
