this is one i'm tempted to look under the hood at.

I have just found this filter that I had not seen before and shows an clever, creative, awesome and amazing way to create realistic numbers in 2008 when it was not available any text input like there is now available with the text component

So now in 2026 it could be made a new variation using the text component and using any font you may like where you could put any number, letters, alphabet characters and even dingbats

A special thing is the clever and very interesting way to see HOW the numbers on this filter are distributed according to the luminosity or luminance of the source image lighting when considering that this was in 2008, so Threedee was very advanced and expert to know how to do this in such early date

Also is very good that each of the numbers is tinted and using the original color from the source image that makes it shine even more


This may be very old but is very good to learn and know how to build filters in a such creative, expert and clever way and surely helped other people

And additionally there is something that was impossible in 2008 and now you can animate the numbers for example modifying the luminance of the source image as shown at the animation shown at the end of this post

I like more the colorful version of ThreeDee, This is another version that is based on a similar way of showing numbers with luminance but only in just one single color and the size of the numbers are also reduced in size according to the luminance
