I think you're right. Perhaps I used the wrong presets -- things I liked, but maybe weren't the most "stained-glassy." I also did notice that in trying for the 3-D leading that the glass seemed changed somehow, but never did get to the bottom of it. I also tried for actual opacity controls, but ran into some snags that made me give up for the time being. (I do want the filter to render in a finite period of time, for one thing. )

I think I'll go back and take a look at this one again. I'm not sure why "Stained Glass 2, Vers. 2" came out more glassy...
