I built this filter to suply high quality carbon fiber textures for a model im working on. Thought it was good enough to submit too
My only wish was I could add an option to set the angle of the weave but theres no way to do that currently I make things go band! |

Here is a down and dirty way using uberzev's 'Any Angle Rotate' and my 'Resize/Crop/Move' snippets.

BTW, you can remove the enlarge control by setting the curve to constants.

Yeah, pretty crazy. A lot of work has gone into developing the snippets.

Though I think for now as i cant get seamless tiles from your fix. I might not add it to the fix. Setting the angle might be better off in photoshop

Ok, just a thought. Nice job.
BTW, I'm sure voldemort has some snippets that will do it at a lower level if you change your mind some day. @ronviers |

Cool! I was looking for one of these.
If you could get the gloss blended effect it would be SUPER COOL! Thanks, Ron ![]() zazzle.com/Ronspassionfordesign*

Nice
What i was aiming for was more to be used as a texture. But you done a good job capturing the wavy flow of the fiber I make things go band! |

i think that's a photo, nutsy. i think he's saying the photo is how he'd like a filter to be.

Uh... *shifty eyes*... sure...
Heh, no, that's a mod of Nutsy's Carbon Fiber filter using ThreeDee's Seamless Tile Rotator snippet and a fairly simple process for the wavyness. I might use the general process with my own texture filter though. |
