My Grandma's homemade applesauce and fresh bread is what I thought of when you said you could smell food cooking in your Grandmother's kitchen.I love those sort of memories that you can almost smell them... mmmmm
Wow, it sure has gotten nostalgic in here for me. First something Craig says brings up my teenage years and now your lovely patterns conjure up memories of my dorky adolescence

I remember when I spent the whole summer with my grandparents, we use to peel apples and make apple sauce, apple butter, aplle jelly and she would either can them or frezze them. We also would blanch apple to freeze so we could have apple pie later that year. It sure does bring back some great memories.
My great grandmother and great aunt lived in the same house. My grandmother and grandfather, had the first floor, my great aunt had the second floor and they turn the attic into 2 rooms, that had a bedroom and a kitchen.

So glad to see you got a filter out. Mostly it's physcological at this point... like running against a runners wall in a marathon. Thrilled to see your beautiful filter! (((It has HU written all over it))).
