I like variation #6 the best, it looks the most 3-D and lit up. I tried a similar look with my Circuit Frame filter, but it probably works even better on yours since it has a bit larger pattern details usually.

Thanks jffe and Foxxee. jffe, this started out as a fabric. I forget what the fabric is called, but the default and the solid presets look exactly like it. Usually little girl's dresses are made from this type fabric. I wasn't able to get the sheen though in the tileable version so that's why I made that other fabric filter.

Hey, Ahimsa, just a thought to share, but I get a lot of inspiration just looking at home magazines. There are lots of little hidden goodies in a picture of a bedroom or kitchen, or even a bathroom. And outdoorsy things all over in the pictures of decorated gardens and yards. Skip the main image they are showing you and start scanning through the rooms around the floors, walls, corners, nick-knacks... you might find something that lights up your imagination ~Foxxee~

That can happen, if you get stuck on those kinds of shows. I don't care for them myself, but use to be addicted to The Bachelor... secret obsession that I had to break myself of because I always hated to see them get hurt by the ladies afterwards, hehehehe... oh dear, ok. I have to go to bed now
If my suggestion helps you, or try it and see if it leads you to other ideas to get inspired by, let me know ok?
See you later Ahimsa, and have a good day ~Foxxee~

lol. either of those tend to kill brain cells
the best cure for 'block' i know of is to go out and look at stuff. look at lots of stuff, filters, the guts of filters, magazines like foxxee suggested... just LOTS of stuff. whenever i get stuck for ideas i just start ripping other folk's filters to pieces or go find a photo gallery site or take a walk or just start throwing components together hither and yon until something pops up and then follow that. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I'm still jealous that this one is brighter/shinier than my circuit frame one ha-ha.

I just wish I could have made this one as a fabric, but it only shines when it is beveled.

Hmm, if it uses profile gradients, could you maybe make a custom curve for it that has 2 thicker blue lines and a thin white line between then, then use the repeat of that for detail adjustment, to *maybe* trick it into being shiny without the bevel look ? Just an idea, I haven't tried it or anything.

I don't know. At the moment I just have plans to update what I can on my filters, change the names, upload them, and then take a long break away from here and FF. I don't know if I know how to do what you are suggesting. I did end up making a fabric filter from this, but without the shine.
