Excellent filter ScaryKitty. smile:) I learned a lot by looking inside. You have some very good ideas for how to do some things I have been wanting to do.

Thanks! smile:D

I know what you mean about "looking inside." I've found lots of inspiration/help that way. smile:)

If you look inside my ‘Underwater’ filter you will find *your* softlight blend mode used to blend my newly added silt option. ‘Rainy Day Blues’ inspired me to add silt. Thank you. smile:D

Cool!

I know I've picked up so many tips from looking at how people put stuff together. I LOVE this program -- it's just that it's so damn addictive! smile:dgrin:

I'm creating some moody shots right now inspired by Ansel Adams. I'm glad I found this filter while searching for "grain"; I dig it so far, thanks for making it, ScaryKitty! Lots of atmosphere useful for low-saturation shots.

yup, this is a good filter and shows FF's need for more masking and better lighting. still, post processing shld be easy and i do like these effects. i chose a less noisy preset and was surprised how it color corrected this image by Dana Lane.

That looks very nice. Any chance I could see the original? I like the softness of her skin tone.

this is the actual original as posted on retouchpro.com. i cropped it down and did some other work on it in psp to get that version i've been modding.
