I thought these would be nice for hotel scenes where you need those carpets you would never use in your own home, but look halfway decent in hotels.

My favorite. Make sure to click on these so you can see them better. Also, these all look best when tiled.

Thanks Steve! Did you look inside to see the weird way I got this? I am still not sure how the strips stayed after I disconnected the curve I had used, but they stayed.

Yes, and that profile hatch is creating light illuminations on some of them. This concept look like it could take off to all sorts of other things too Steve

I'm still trying to figure out how the strips remained when the componant was removed. I want to be able to do it again.

It looks to me like kaleidoscope is using the bands of color to create them. This has happened to me too.....couldn't figure out where the bands/lines were coming from.....and ended up being the color division lines..... Steve

What I am talking about are the strips in the profile gradients. I had used a different curve there to make the strips and then removed that curve and used the circular arcs instead.

Oh that.....it doesn't matter what curve you use.....they only effect how the profile fluxuates..... Steve

Oh, so then I can make strips everytime regardless of the curve? Good to know. I was doing it the hard way all this time.
