Right after submitting I thought of some more options to add to this, so it will be updated early next week.

The update is definatly a step up...it gives the ability to distory the rings in a couple of different ways, and there is a bit more control over the size.

Ok...we are all updated, giving some more control over size (through pixel size only though), and I have added some distortion controls as well, to help make it a little more random.

Rawn, how well does it match at the seams? Looks like it matches up well. I haven't textured anything since I started making the filters, too busy making filters. smile:D

LOL...well, there is a reason I didnt show it too close smile;)
There is really nothig a filter can do about seams, seam matching is entirely the art of the texturist.
The filter making didnt really slow my texture making, but that is mostly because I have so many committments to work with people who expect me to have things done.
The only real slowdown is in my inspiration, as alot of my mind does get caught up with trying to figure out ways (in my head) to come up with filter effects.
Thankfully my day job has enough slow times where I can play with filterforge smile;)

Ok, so it won't be as easy as floodfilling. That's ok, I actually do know how to do them without the floodfill tool. smile:)

You also have to keep getting new ideas for your products and running your site. You do a lot of work, that's for sure.
