Oh, when I looked at the close-up... and w0w!
Do you remember ever doing callages in school with torn tissue paper pieces? That's almost what this looks like to me. Love the smell of the glue too... and NO, I didn't inhale either smile:-p

Aha... you remember that little jar of white paste and a lid with the spreading paddle attached to it? I think we've all tried a little of that, I'm sure it must have been edible because we are all still very much here..................... aren't we smile:?:

nice one, steve. very mosaic.

ugh, white paste and finger paints and pratt water color paints in metal cans.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I used to love the paste. I loved the mimeograph machine and the teacher's black magic marker. Kids these days are really missing out. smile:D

Airplane glue back then was pretty interesting, but I preferred the smell of shoe polish.
