This filter is beautiful but all of your filters are. smile:) How do you imagine this will be used?

I'm using them for artistic colorization with metallic and chrome texture. I "chopped" all of my recent spectral filters from some of my unsubmitted 3D glass filters.....which I do plan to submit after I get all of the types perfected and polished up.....so they can also be used as colorization snippets that can be blended into just about any other filter. For instance.....to give glass a spectral irridescent sheen or prismatic color effect, water an irridescent 'oil slick' appearance, artistic backgrounds, etc...... smile:)

I especially like the textured chrome-metallic aspects of this filter.....achieved by decreasing the "Smooth" control.....

Thanx guys, really glad you like it!!! smile:) smile:) smile:)

Ron, I don't know what it is either.....I think it is a flower, but doesn't matter because but it looks really cool just as modern art!!! smile:)

Yeah, I'm drawn to the relief texture of this too.....which was an inadvertant, more-than-welcome discovery that I happened upon while adjusting the "Smooth" parameters.....

Don't give up - I think it is just a matter of time. smile:) My choice of samples probably delayed its transition to HU by a few weeks.

I have been using the texturing and shading that I love so much as a carrot to get me through some of the more tedious parts of the learning process. My plan had been to get through modeling then do some texturing then move on to rigging and animation then come back to texturing and shading but now I think I should keep dangling that carrot. I say that because it appears to be impossible to make decisions about the type of geometry to use, and thereby how to texture it, without knowing how it behaves while animated. So it looks like I will be away for a while longer, i'm guessing 10 weeks, but I am confident that my best filters lay ahead. smile:)

I also need 8 bucks for one of those wax seals that go on the bottom of the toilet. Let's see, which one should I get first?

I was hoping it would be popular with the scrapbookers. Buttons are not a bad idea because the hearts can be framed in a heart by applying it twice - once in normal mode and once in frame mode.

I still have the glass egg one posted - it has not hit low yet.

Did you get the PAE switch enabled ok?

My new surface cover arrived today. Man is it nice not to be scraping over holes.

I just figured it was some kind of Aussie/King Kong thing (I was a little concerned about which part of the monkey I was supposed to scale) smile:eek: - unfortunately catching monkeys slowly doesn't make much more sense. Here in Oklahoma we catch monkeys by sneaking up on them and putting salt on their tails - it never fails.

PAE increases the avalable address space but as fast as your computer is you may not need to mess with it.

I actually have an egg shaped orb that looks pretty cool but I got distracted before I finished it.

Take it easy there, let's not panic. I love monkeys. The worst monkey pisses me off less than 90% of the human population. smile:)
