ok, i dont get it. how is this different from the one(s) that came before like this?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Its all about how it "fakes" the angular gradient. None of the solutions I've seen so far (including my own) are perfect in the gradient ramp curvature (do a difference blend + levels white point down check to see the visual difference). My version is a tiny bit faster, its easier to control the curvature approximation (where the gain goes in) and the curvature is a little bit closer to the real curvature (not much though). |
