i think i would have controlled the color controls. there's just something a bit odd about green lava
![]() the other thing you might think about adding is smoke/steam. but, nice effect on the lava itself. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I would suggest (to bring the highlights out as you were noting in your description) changing it from a surface filter to a simple filter, otherwise it's like the texture is being painted on an object, and if you want it to glow, a surface filter will not let you do that
![]() I would also suggest making the rock more visible, I think it's just black. Here's my version, I tried not to change much, but I deleted some unlinked nodes, combined some, and changed the type. Try to find the changes I made and compare them to the original.
