I think you should turn this filter into a Simple Filter (2D) instead of a Surface Filter (3D). It will greatly improve render times and the diffuse map looks good in itself already

To be honest, I can't think of any reason I didn't have this one a simple filter. It definitely makes more sense that way. Will update... and thanks! ^_^
